设计意图:利用学生喜欢了解老师的心理,让学生把自己课前调查的老师的资料用所学语言进行表达,为下面的学习做铺垫。

【设计意图:由朋友生日的介绍到亲戚生日的介绍,把所学语言运用到实际生活中,同时可以比较不同年龄层过生日的活动是不同的。】

说课

本节课是义务教育教科书英语五年级下册第八单元Birthdays第三课时Fun time

本课的教学目标设定为以下两点:1. 依托Fun time的调查,巩固所学的序数词及其变形方法;2. 在调查活动的情境中强化句型:When’s your birthday?It’s on …What do you do on your birthday?I usually …并在游戏和生活情景中开展运用。

在导入环节,通过世界各地人们过生日的图片为学生营造一个开心、美好的氛围,并在图片中渗透一些过生日时的活动。再由学生课前调查任课老师生日来进行日期的复习。课文的复习比第二课时复述更进一步,利用填空式让学生回顾故事,从而完成练习。再由一篇小短文的阅读,让孩子们自主找出里面出现的序数词从而过渡到序数词的复习,并且这篇小短文也为后面自己介绍朋友生日做了铺垫。序数词巩固环节主要通过师生的快速反应游戏和学生喜欢的连连看进行复习,提高了学生学习的积极性。在Fun time的活动环节,通过小组合作进行问答式调查,再汇报所得。然后从朋友过渡到对家人生日情况的汇报,让学生们感知不同年龄层生日的活动方式是不同的。最后,利用不同语言的生日快乐感受生日对各国人民的重要,并由此引导孩子爱自己的父母,爱自己的老师。
