2.能在日常生活中熟练运用句型:This is…;

3.能听懂、会说、会读句型:Good evening.

4.能表演Cartoon的对话。

5.懂得爱护动物,与动物和平共处。

Step 1 Lead-in

1. Greeting

2. T: Today I’m your new teacher. A new friend will join us, too. Who is she?

Present the picture of Xinxin: Hello, I’m Xinxin. I’m at the Family Club.

  T: What is the Family Club?

  Xinxin: Now let me tell you about the family club. In the club, we can have a lot of fun. We can meet many families and play games. We often say rhymes or sing songs. We welcome new families.

Step 2 Revision

1. T shows today’s visit schedule(meet a family, play a game, say a rhyme, welcome new families).

Show Mike’s family members and review the words: father, mother, brother, sister

2. Ask Ss to act Mike and introduce his family.

3. Present the pictures of Mike’s grandpa and grandma and learn: grandpa, grandma

4. Play a game and consolidate the above words.

5. T: Each of us has a sweet family. There’s a secret in the word “family”. It also means father and mother, I love you.

6. Say the rhyme ”I love you”.

  Ss make a new rhyme in groups.

Step 3 Presentation and practice

1. T: It’s time to welcome new families.

  Ask Ss to introduce their families.

2. Xinxin: Today some animal families will come. They are on the way.

3. Watch the cartoon and answer the question:

  How many families are there? Three

4. Read the dialogue and find the answers : Who are they? When do they meet?

  Teach “Good evening”.

5. Imitate the characters and read “Good evening”.

6. Read the dialogue after the tape.

7. Read and act the dialogue.

8. T: How do Sam and Bobby feel when they meet Coco and her mother? Why?

9. Imagine: What will you say if you meet Coco and her mother?

10. Read a new story “My family”.

3学情分析  

本校是从一年级开始学习英语,所以三年级是他们学习英语的第三年。孩子们在前三课中已经学习了基本的打招呼用语。对于家庭成员类单词在一、二年级都出现并学习过。所以对他们来说,本课内容不算困难,关键是能引导孩子灵活使用以前学过的知识,并结合本课新学的知识进行表演和交际。

4重点难点  

能熟练运用本课所学句型及单词。
