一、单元主题分析
本单元教学内容为译林版英语五年级上册第二单元A new student,属于“人与自我”和“人与社会”主题范畴,涉及“生活与学习”、“社会服务与人际沟通”“历史、社会与文化”主题群,“学习与生活的自我管理”、“运动与游戏,安全与防护”、“个人感受与见解”等子主题。
本单元围绕A new student话题涉及9个语篇,包括三组对话、一个图表、两个图示、一首韵律诗、一个配图说明文和一个非完整的配图说明文等。
Story time是一组日常对话,主要讲述新学期开学Yang Ling的学校来了一位新同学Nancy,Miss Li 请Yang Ling带领Nancy参观校园。Yang Ling向Nancy介绍了学校的各功能室及各功能室所在楼层。该语篇旨在如何让新同学快速了解新学校,并能尽快融入到新的学习环境中,建立同学情。引导学生用There be句型的陈述句和疑问句介绍和询问学校情况,同时初步感知序数词的表达法。
二、学情分析
学生在第一单元学过了there be句型的陈述句,能根据方位有的东西进行简单的表达;本单元中有的单词如playground, music, art, class, room这些词之前学过,加上课前的预习,在生词学习中有所帮助。本课涉及的知识点较多,除there be的一般疑问句及回答以外,还有序数词first, second,third的认读理解以及表达,对学生在语言知识的掌握上提出了更高的要求。

(一)语言能力目标:
1.学生能听懂、会说、会读单词art room, computer room, music room, library, classroom, playground,first, second, third, floor, student;发音准确。
2.学生能听懂、会说、会读句型Can you show her around? How many…are there…? Is there a/an…? Yes, there is. Are there any…? Yes, there are.

1.学生能用句型How many…are there…? Is there a/an…? Yes, there is. Are there any…? Yes, there are. 来谈论学校。
2.学生能理解、掌握对话内容,用正确的语音语调朗读对话,初步表演对话。

1.通过故事的学习能感受到校园的美好,热爱学校,保持校园整洁。
2.学生能感知帮助他人的快乐,与同学友好相处。
