一、教学内容:五下Unit7 Checkout time and revision

二、教学目标:

1、学生能流利地说出传统节日的相关信息。

2、学生能用英语表达自己最喜欢的节日,能说出理由。

3、学生能在学习的过程中学会利用思维导图,理清写作的思路,提高写作能力。

4、学生能在交流中感受宜兴当地节日传统文化,体会中国传统节日的含义,传播中国传统节日文化。

三、教学重难点:

教学重点:

1、学生能流利地说出传统节日的相关信息。

2、学生能用英语表达自己最喜欢的节日,能说出理由。

3、学生能在学习的过程中学会利用思维导图,理清写作的思路,提高写作能力。

1、学生能在交流中感受宜兴当地节日传统文化,体会中国传统节日的含义,传播中国传统节日文化。

四、教学过程

课前活动:

1. Play a game

T:There are twelve months in a year.

2. Think and say

T:What do you think of when you see the months ?

S:Birthday, Season, Festival...

3. Enjoy a video

T:What will months relate to in this class? Lets enjoy a video.

设计意图:上课前利用游戏快速复习旧知,消除学生紧张气氛,激起学生参与课堂的兴趣;利用开放性问题“月份会与什么有关联?”激活学生思维;利用热闹有趣的视频,导入本课话题。

T:To do it well, we should know more. Next, We can talk about some festivals. Finally, We can introduce our favourite festivals.

设计意图:在复习Story time板块的基础上,顺利成章地提出向世界传播中国传统文化的学习任务,通过三个具体任务,将听、说、读、写有机整合,发展其综合语言运用能力。

T: Different festivals have different customs and cultures. First ,Lets know more about the Spring Festival.

1.Spring Festival

T: At the Spring Festival, people get together with families. What else do they do?

THow do you feel?

S: Happy,excited....

T:Whats the meaning of this festival?

S:Reunion, Happiness, Gratitude...

2.Dragon Boat Festival

T:Do you want to know more about the Dragon Boat Festival? Lets talk about it. How to talk? What questions can you ask?

设计意图:借助思维导图,引导学生建构描述节日的维度和框架,为之后多角度、多方面介绍节假日提供语言支撑。

3.Work in four

T:Now lets try to know more about the Mid-Autumn Festival and the Double Ninth Festival. Please work in four.

设计意图:通过小组合作的方式,学生的思维能力和表达能力得到培养和提升,在交流中感知中国传统文化的内涵。

设计意图:复习课,学生不仅要学习语言,更需要积极地用语言,最终能把已学的语言知识转化为语言能力。因此,本环节利用教师示范、小组交流的形式,引导学生借助思维导图,用语篇的形式描述,从节日时间、节日活动、节日内涵等多方面描述中国传统节日,提升主动运用语言知识和语言技能,。

设计意图:家庭作业部分作为课堂的延续既巩固课内知识、提升课外技能,又能培养学生用英语做事做事的能力,从而真正将中国传统节日文化传播出去。
