Step 2. Revision

1. How to talk about four seasons?

T: Sam and his mum are in Australia. Do you want to know about the weather there? What do you want to know? Read the questions and tick the ones you are interested in.  

Here are the questions:

(    ) Which season is it now?

(    ) How’s the weather?

(    ) What do people usually do on sunny days?

(    ) Is it hot in summer?       

(    ) Do they like the weather there?

2. Read and find the answers.

T: Read Sam’s diary. And find out the answers to your questions.

3. Check the answers together.

【设计意图：结合上节课的Cartoon板块和作业要求，请学生进一步了解澳大利亚的季节和天气情况，掌握描述不同季节的气候特征，以及在不同季节里人们经常从事的活动。】

3. Brainstorm

T: I’ll show your some words. Please say something about them. For example, you can talk about the season you love, the weather, the activities in each season and so on.

【设计意图：让学生结合季节和气候的单词，发挥想象力，调动相关语言知识储备，谈论不同季节的感受和活动，训练本课的重点知识。】
