Whats the matter? 第一课时教案

.教学目标

1. 能听懂、会读、会说、会写词汇thirstywaterilltired,能听懂、会读、会说词汇dear

2. 能听懂、会读、会说、会写句型Whats the matterIm... Can I have...? Here you are. Come and have... I want to...Good night.并尝试在语境中运用

3. 能理解并尝试有感情地朗读课文

4. 学会表达自己的身体感受,能够在对话的学习过程中体会到爸妈对孩子的爱,从而也能关心自己爸妈

5. 让学生在学习活动中学会关心同学、帮助朋友

Step1 Warming up

1. Sing a songIm hungry and thirsty.

T: Enjoy the song and clap with me.

T: Can you try to sing?    Ss :Yes.     T: Have a try.

2. Free talk:

  T: Are the bear and dog lovely? Look at this picture. How do they feel?

    Happy? Sad?

Ss: Hungry.(teach:hungry)

  T: What about this picture? How does the dog feel? Is he hungry?

  Ss:No.Hes thirsty.(teach:thirty------thirsty)

3. Learn to say

  T: Hungry and thirsty are feelings. We have so many feelings. Do you know? Lets learn to say.

    (动作)He is... He is.... He is ...(teach:tired)

4. Whats the matter(揭题,teachmatter)

Step2 Presentation and practice

1. Look and say

T: Look at this boy. Who is he? Stand up! Whats the matter with him?

 Ss: Hungry.

T: What about this boy? Whats the matter ?  Ss: Thirsty.

(Show some pictures)T:They are....They are...(Ss:happy)

2. Look and guess

T: Look at our friend Liu Tao, is he happy?

 Ss: No. T: Youre right. He is not happy. Why

T: Use the sentenceIs he...?to guess.

 Ss: Is he...?  Is he...?  Is he...? (sad, tired, hungry, thirsty)

3. Watch and choose

T: Whats the matter with him? Lets watch and choose.

  Check the answer.

4. Look and discuss

T: His parents are so nice. They notice Liu Taos face.

  What does his father say? Please look and discuss in pairs.

 Ss discuss in pairs.

5. Listen and read

T:What does his father say? Listen and read after the tape.

Ss: Come and have a pie, Taotao.

T:Does Liu Tao want to have the pie?

Ss: No.

T: Why? Please listen.

S1: He is not hungry, he is thirsty.

T: Can you read the sentence? Read together.

6. Read P1&2 and answer

T: Liu Tao is thirsty, so he wants to....

 Read P1&2 quickly. 30s for you! Go! Go! Go!

 Lets check.

7. Read and underline

T: How does Liu Tao ask his mother?

   How does his mother answer him? Read P2 and underline.

S1:Can I have some water, Mum? (指导语气语调)

S2:Here you are.

T:Read together. Can you change a sentence?

Ss: Heres some water for you./Heres a glass of juice./ This glass of water is for you.

T: Is Liu Tao polite? Why?       Ss: Thank you.

T:When others care about us, we should be polite to them.

8. Think and say

T: If you are Liu Tao, what do you want to drink?

  Use the sentence Can I have some...?

Ss: Can I have some juice/ milk tea/ milk/cola?  T: Here you are.

9. Say a chant
T: Are you tired? Lets have a rest. Heres a chant for you. Listen to me and you can clap with me.

T: Are you clear? Can you chant again? Have a try.    Ss chant together.

10. Lets discuss

T: Liu Tao is thirsty and he drinks some water. Look at his face. Is he all right now?   Ss: No.

T:How does his mother care about him? Pay attention to the picture and the words. Discuss in groups. Two minutes, lets go!

S1: Whats the matter, Taotao? Are you ill?(teach:hill-----ill)

T: When we guess the feelings of somebody, we often use Are you...?

T: Is Liu Tao ill?   S2: No. He is tired.

T: What does he want to do?   S3:He wants to go to bed.

11. Listen and say

T: Before going to bed, what do they say? Listen and say.

Ss:....

T: Is Liu Tao happy?  Ss:Yes.

T: He can have a nice dream, I think.

T: Read P3&4, here we go!
