教学内容 Storytime第一课时

教学目标

1、能听懂、会读、会说uncle, doll, ball, robot

2、 能听懂、会读、会说日常交际用语Happy New Year! What’s this/that? It’s… This is for you.

3、能正确地理解并朗读对话内容,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试表演对话。

4、能初步运用本课所学的词汇和日常交际用语向他人表达节日问候,可以让我们感受到学习英语的乐趣和成就。

教学重点:

能正确地理解并朗读对话内容,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试表演对话。

教学难点:

能初步运用本课所学的词汇和日常交际用语谈论新年礼物并相互作出适当的评价。

教学准备:

教学光盘、关于本课时的多媒体课件

教学过程:

Step 1: Warm-up

1.  欣赏歌曲Happy New Year并呈现单元标题“Happy New Year

2.  Free talk (T-S)

T: Do you know the song? It’s New Year’s time. 出示课题 Happy New Year!教师带读,学生跟读。

Step 2.Presentation

Learn the new words and sentences.

1.T: New Year’s Day is coming, I bring some presents to you. Look at this. (指着近的东西)What’s  this?(新授) It’s a doll(新授).

同法教授What’s that? /ball/ robot

2.Guess and say, 复习句型和单词。

3. T:XX, you did very well, this is for you. (新授)

4.T:Boys and girls, we are very happy today. Look at the pictures, Who are they?.

Ss: They are Uncle John, Helen and Mike.

T:What are they doing?

Ss: They’re talking about New Year’s presents.

T: It’s New Year’s Day. Uncle John comes to see Mike and Helen. What do they say? Let’s watch the cartoon.

S: Happy New Year.

T: Uncle John has some presents. Who are they for? What are their presents?

(在看一遍动画,完成连线题目)

T: Uncle John 赠送礼物时,How to say? (划出文中句子)

  当接收礼物时,How to say?(划出文中句子)

Step 3.Practise

TNow let’s read the dialogue after the tape ,then let’s try to make the dialogue better.

1.听录音跟读,教师进行朗读指导

2.集体朗读

3.学生自读,每组将老师随意指定的一幅图的对话朗读出来。

4.小组分角色朗读。

Step 4.Consolidation

TYou all did a good job.

1.  创设情境,让学生以小组为单位,互赠新年礼物,并互致新年祝福。

S1: Happy New Year!

S2: Thank you. What’s this/that?  S1: It’s a toy car

S2:It’s nice./How nice.
