3,能正确理解、掌握对话内容,并能朗读,初步表演对话。

教学难点:
1,学生能理解序数词first、second、third的意思和用法(序数词前面要加单词the)
学生能正确听、说、读There be句型的一般疑问句以及相关答句。
2,本课的难点是如何启发学生能主动地动用所学英语去进行交际。

(通过这个环节,复习上一单元学习的there be句型,用这个句型来说一说自己的教室和学校,并由此过渡到本单元。在Free talk中可以渗透本节课将要学习的new words.)
2, Story time
(1)出示图片,介绍人物出场
T: Look, there is a new student here. She is Nancy Black.
N: Hi, I’m Nancy Black. I’m a new student. Nice to meet you.
出示课题: Unit 2 A new student
(2)T: Miss Li asks Yang Ling to show Nancy around the school. What does she say?
S: Can you show her around.
