【教学目标】
知识目标:
1、能理解并正确朗读课文;
2、能根据板书复述课文;
能力目标:
1、能通过观察、对比等方式,进一步加深对一般过去时和一般现在时两种时
的理解与运用;
2、能尝试运用所学句型将六年前的自己与现在的自己进行对比
情感态度目标:
通过学习,让学生感受科技的进步给人们生活带来的变化。同时也提醒学生
适度合理地上网。
【教学重难点】
1、能理解并正确朗读课文;
2、能理解过去时态中动词的不规则变化并初步尝试运用。

【教学过程】
Step 1 师读一遍自我介绍,师生交流信息
T: Do you like games? Do you like English? Do you like me? Do you want to know me? Next, I’ll say sth about myself. Please try to remember it. OK? Listen carefully.
I’m 30 years old. I’m an English teacher. I can speak English. I like reading and listening to music. I do shopping on the Internet. I drive to school every day.
Do you remember? How old am I? 30. What’s my job? What can I do? What’s my hobby? Where do I do shopping? How do I go to work?
This is me. But twenty-two years ago, how old was I? Am I a teacher? What did I do?  Could I speak English? Because at that time we didn’t study English at primary school. What did I like doing? Where did I buy things? How did I go to school?
You know who I was then and who I am now. Today our topic is then and now.读题
Step 2  Read and circle
学习第一段
First, let’s read sth about Mike. What could he do six years ago. What can he do
now? Please read and choose. Don’t forget tell me why. Who try? How do know
that? Read it. Yes, he can do many things. So he can read, draw and write. What
else can Mike do?
Next, read it again. Circle the changing words and phrases.

T: Next, let’s learn sth about Mr Brown
Here are some pictures.  Read paragraph 2.  Where do put them? Think it over.

What’s this? It’s a letter. Do you write letters? Why do we put it here? 板书wrote letters to… When? Twenty years ago. So then. Next, what’s this? It’s a telephone.拿卡片教读 Why we put it here? How do you know that? 板书 used…. to call… 教读used  What does use mean? We use pen to write. We use water to wash hands.
Mr Brown used the telephone to call people. Where was the telephone? This is a long sentence. How to read it well? We should stop. Listen carefully, where should we stop? 哪里要停顿?Who can read it?
Twenty years ago, could Mr Brown call people anywhere? Can he call people anywhere? Why? 教读mobile phone

Look, what has changed? Thirty years ago, Mike’s grandpa had much hair. And now he has little hair. young—old  His eyes are not good. He wears a pair of glasses.
What did he read thirty years ago? He read newspapers. Why did he read news papers? For news.  Now what does he have? He has a laptop. He can surf the Internet.  He has changed a lot. But what doesn’t changed?
He likes reading and he likes reading and watching news. How did he get news thirty years ago? 教第一句 radio(实物 Can we watch video on it? We listen to it.) newspaper(实物We can read news and see pictures in it.) 长句跟读,停顿
Now, how can he get news? He can read and watch news on the Internet. Because he has a laptop.  I have newspapers and a laptop. If you were Grandpa, Which do you like better? Why? Newspaper, just read. But laptop, we can watch, listen and read. It is more convenient and quick. Grandpa likes reading. Does he read books? He reads e-book. (实物 it is a book, but we can’t see any paper in it.)

Step 5 主要讲了Mrs Brown 哪两件事情的变化

Where did she make friends 20 years ago?Where do her friends from? 教from all over the world(地球仪)world – all over the world
