Step 1 Warming up

1、Enjoy a song<Feelings>

T: Today we’ll talk about our feelings.(揭题）

【设计意图：通过欣赏动画歌曲的方式迅速带领学生进入英语学习的氛围，集中学生的注意力，引出本节课的主题Feelings，从而活跃课堂气氛。】

2、看场景，说感觉

T：Everyday, we have many feelings. Look at some situations.Try to express your feelings. How do you feel in the situation?

a、疫情期间在家上网课场景图

I’m... Because...

I’m bored/worried/scared/tired/sad. Because I have a lot of lessons/I can’t play  with my friends…

b、生日场景图

1、T: Friends always care about each other too. Look at Mike and his dad, Liu Tao and Wang Bing. What are they saying? Please choose one situation, use these sentences to make a dialogue.

2、T: How about our cartoon friend Bobby. Today he has many feelings. What are his feelings?

3、T: Because Bobby says nothing, what can Mrs Fox do?

        Mrs Fox calls Mrs Mouse. School and family always keep in touch.

T: Look, Mrs Fox is calling Mrs Mouse.

       学习电话用语：This is… speaking.

Tips: 打电话时，我用this,你用that。

T: Then what will Mrs Mouse say? Please make a telephone call in pairs.

两人合作: 展开合理想象，思考Mrs Mouse和Mrs Fox 的打电话内容？

T: Quickly, Mum comes to school. How does she care about Bobby?

Are you all right, Bobby?

T: Bobby says: I’m hungry.

T: Look, there’s a lunch box in Mum’s hands. Guess, what’s in the lunch box?

S1: A cake.

T: Why does Mum bring a cake to Bobby?

T: Because Bobby likes cakes very much.（气泡呈现以前Bobby喜欢蛋糕的图片）And Mum knows Bobby very well. Just like your mum.

T: With the cake. Bobby is happy. And his mood makes everyone happy.

5、T: You can read well. This time, let’s read and think. Bobby is sad at school. His teacher cares about him. She asks?

S: What’s the matter, Bobby?

T: Bobby says nothing. Then Mrs Fox asks again.

S: Are you ill?

T: Booby says?

S: No, I’m not.

T: His friend Sam cares about him too. He asks?

S: Are you cold?

T: But Bobby says?

S: No.

T: So Mrs Fox has to call Mrs Mouse. When Mum comes. She cares about Bobby: Are you all right? What does Bobby say?

T:Bobby says nothing to his teacher and friends. He just expresses to his mum. What do you think of Bobby?

T: In the morning, Bobby let the cake fall to the ground because of the football. So he’s not happy. Anyway, when we meet trouble at school, we should ask our teachers and friends for help.

Step 3 Consolidation and production

1、T: At school, we always  have  a lot of feelings. Look at some of our school life. (播放视频）Every day, you come to school happily. You have lessons. You listen to the teachers carefully. You play football excitedly. You play basketball happily. But when you do your homework, you may feel tired. When someone broke you things, you may feel angry. When you can’t find your things, you may feel worried. When you have a lot of homework, you may feel grumpy.（视频结束）

2、T: Let’s look at these situations, think and say: When I ... , I .... . For example, When I have an English lesson with you, I feel happy. How about you?

S1,2: ...

3、T: When we have these feelings, what to do?  How to do? I have a picture book <My feelings>.There are many useful tips.  Let’s read it.

4、S: Enjoy the picture book.

5、T: So many useful tips in the book. Let’s find them out. For example, when you feel happy, what to do? How to do? I open the book, find and underline：Hop and skip. Smile. Say hello. Whistle and sing. Draw a picture.

6、 Now it’s your turn, please work in groups. Open the picture book, read, find and underline .

 2.Underline  画出这种情绪的调节方法，管理方式。

A.When you feel sad or worried.  Dance. Have a cake daydream.  Take deep breaths, Tell someone...

B. When you feel grumpy. Do something you love. Go outside. Say something silly. Huff and puff. Imagine a jelly bath.

C. When you feel excited. Jump up and down. Tell a friend. Clap! Do a silly dance. Draw excitement.

D. When you feel scared. Run away fast. Say, ‘I’m scared!’ Imagine you’re a giant. Laugh out loud. Tell you pet.

E. When you feel shy. It’s OK. Say, ‘Hello!’ Giggle with a friend. Be busy. Don’t worry!

8、Summary: From this lesson, we learned a lot. When we are in need, we have to express ourselves, we have to seek help.When others are in need，we should offer help. The most important is we need self-help.
