Unit 3 Asking the way


一、教学内容:

    Story time(第一课时)

二、教学目标:

 1.能听懂、会读、会说cinema, hospital, shop, zoo等地点类单词;get on, get off指示词;traffic lights

   2.能初步运用句型How do I get to …? 及回答:You can take…/Go along … Get on/ off …Turn left/right/You can see…on your….向别人问路以及如何给别人指路。

 3.能正确、流利地朗读并理解故事.

   4.能形成在日常对话中使用礼貌用语的意识,慢慢形成助人为乐的品质。

三、教学重点:

   1.能听懂,会读,会说,会用How do I get to …? 及回答:Go along this street. 

Turn left/ right at the traffic lights. Get on/ off … at …Station. You can see the … on the left/ right.

 2.能正确、流利地朗读并理解故事.

能初步运用所学的单词和句型交流.

Step 1 leading in

T:Good morning boys and girls. How do you come home after school?

S:I come home by metro/bus/bike……

T:How do I come ? Do you know?

S:…

T:I come home by metro. on my way home I can see (放出医院、剧院、商店、动物园的图片)a hospital. Follow me hospital, hospital. Next one what is it? 

T:Yes.It’s a cinema. So clever. Read after her please.

T:And this is a zoo. You can see many animals there.

  Last one what is it? It’s a shop. Right! we can buy a lot of things.

T:yesterday on my way home, I met our good friend YL in the shop. She was….Look at the picture what can you get from this picture? (放出杨玲苏海打电话的插图)

S…

T:yes!YL is making a phone call with SH. she wanted to go to SH’s new home. She bought a present. She was asking the way!

T:Do you want to go to SH’s new home? yes? Let’s find the way!

T:Today, we are going to learn Unit3 Asking the way.(板书)

 

Step 2 Presentation

Task 1 watch and choose

T:please watch the cartoon carefully, think about this question: how to get to SH’s home? then please help me choose the right answer.

Task 2 Listen and circle

T:YL takes the metro to SH’s home.Listen to the tape, and answer the two questions. 

1.Which station should Yang Ling get on(上车)? Which to get off(下车)

2.Where is SuHai’s home

(在ppt呈现时,get on/off旁边呈现图片,帮助学生理解这两个短语的意思)

TLet’s look at this map.(在黑板上用简笔画的形式画出一个简易地图

We can know YL gets on at the Park station and gets off at City Library Station.

TDoes YL find SH’s home? How do you know that?

T:She cannot find the book shop. So, she asks a policeman for help……(进入课文第二部分)

Task 4 Listen and underline

THow does the policeman show the way for YL? Please underline the phrases like go along.

Task1 read and complete

Read the passage together.And then choose the right word or phrase to completer the passage on the screen

首先齐读课文,读完后ppt上呈现课文大意的文本让学生在选择正确的词填空

Task2 role play

T: work in pairs one is YL and one is SH and another is the policeman. Try to act!

 

Step 4 Production

Group work

T:now,we know the way to SH’s home. Can you look at this map and introduce to me 

(one student one sentence)

通过小组活动,让学生根据地图,运用时间副词和方位介词描述story time中的内容,是对本节课教学重难点(单词、短语,句子)的练习和运用。激发学生的学习兴趣,锻炼学生的小组合作能力。学以致用,让学生在小组活动的愉快氛围中进行操练、运用和巩固知识点。

Talk show

T:Look at this map and work on the blackboard with your partner. Choose one place you want to go, and describe how to get there.

结合地图 运用并巩固本节课的重点单词,短语,以及句子“How to get to...?”

 

Step 5 Homework

1.listen to the recording again and read the passage correctly. You should remember these words: cinema, hospital, shop, zoo get on/off,turn right/left,traffic lights

T:This is my map from home to school.Can you draw a map like this and talk to your friend how to go to school from home?

老师给出示例,让学生画出从家到学校的地图,并进行英语描述。是对本节课内容的拓展提高。与实际生活相结合,旨在锻炼学生在实际生活中运用所学知识的能力、语言表达能力和写作能力。
