话题1 ：Introduce yourself

        Hello  everyone!  I  am  Chen  Dan  from  Class  1，Grade  7.  I  am  12 years old, I have short hair with a pair of glasses.

My  favourite  subjects  are  Maths  and  Computer  Science.  They  are interesting.  I  am  good  at  them.

        I enjoy playing Chinese chess and ping-pong. I often play these with my dad at the weekend.    

I have many new classmates at school. They are all very nice. I am happy to make friends with them.

话题2：My hobby

Hello，I am Millie.  

I love painting. It makes me feel happy. I often paint with my friends after school. We enjoy  sharing our paintings and talking about art.

        My  favourite  artist  is  Xu  Beihong.  He was  a  master  of  Chinese painting. His paintings of horses are great works of art.

I want to become a designer. I would like to design beautiful clothes in the future. My painting skills can help me a lot. I hope my dream can come true.

话题3: Our wonderful school

I am at a new school now. I like it very much.

My favourite place at the school is the hall, a lot of interesting events take place there. We also have a playground. My friends and I often play  ping-pong  together  there.  We  do  not  have  a  gym,  but  we  have  a football field. We love playing football on it.

        Our teachers are quite nice. They care about us a lot. My classmates are great too. They are friendly and helpful.

        Our school is a good place for me. I am happy to be a student here.

我现在在一所新学校，我很喜欢。

 我在学校最喜欢的地方是礼堂,有很多有趣的活动在那里举行。我们还有一个操场。我和我的朋友经常一起在那里打乒乓球。我们没有体育馆，但有一个足球场。我们喜欢在那里踢足球。

话题4: My new school

Hello everyone, I want to show you around my new school.

        Here  is  our  modern  library  and  our  classroom  buildings. They  are clean and bright. They are the perfect places for us to study.

        Our  school  has  many  green  spaces.  Students  enjoy  spending  time here. We can chat with friends about our problems here too.

        We have a great sports field. Lots of exciting sports matches take place on it.

There are some noticeboards near the gate. Here we can read about school  news.

We have a big dining hall, too. The food there is always delicious.   I like my new school very much. What about you ?

话题5：My school days

        Our  school  starts  at  8:00  in  the  morning.  Usually,  we  do  morning exercises first. Then our lessons begin at 8:15.

        I like Chinese best! We read the works of many famous writers. The Chinese language is really amazing.

        After-school  activities  are  great  fun  too!  I  am  in  the  school volleyball team, and we practise on Friday afternoons.

        We have a field trip each term. Tomorrow morning we will leave for a farm to pick apples there.

I love my school days. I have a good time at school.

话题6：What I eat and how I live

I like dancing. I dance for half an hour every day. I sleep for about more  than  9  hours  most  nights.  A  good  night's  sleep  gives  me  lots  of energy for the next day. So I am always full of energy.

It is important for me to keep fit. I also have a healthy diet. I never go to school without breakfast. I often have a pancake and some milk. For lunch,  I  like  fish,  meat  and  tofu.  I  also  eat  lots  of  fruit  and  vegetables every day. I seldom eat cakes or sweets. Too much sugar is bad for our teeth.

I can stay fit with a healthy lifestyle.

        我喜欢跳舞。我每天都跳半小时。大多数晚上我睡九个多小时，良好的睡眠能让我第二天精力充沛/所以我总是精力充沛。

话题7:My healthy life style

        A healthy lifestyle is all about a healthy  diet, enough exercise and rest.  

For breakfast, I usually have a pie and a carton of milk. I never go to school  without  breakfast.  I  have  rice,  meat  and  vegetables  for  lunch. My  mum  likes  to  cook  noodles  in different ways，so I often eat noodles for dinner. I seldom eat cakes or sweets. Too much sugar is bad for our teeth.

I do sport almost every day. Sport helps me keep fit.

I  sleep  for  nine  hours  most  nights, so I am always full of energy. A good night’s sleep gives me lots of energy for the next day.  

I can stay fit with a healthy lifestyle.

话题8: My fashion design

        Look at the model. Here is my design for a shirt, a jacket, a pair of jeans and a pair of sports shoes.

        The shirt is white. I think white shirts have a clean look, and white matches any other colour.

        The jacket is not too long or too large, and it is dark blue.        

Jeans are very popular with students, so my design has a pair of blue jeans.

        The shirt, the jacket and the jeans are all made of cotton and are very comfortable.

There  is  also  a  pair  of  sports  shoes.  They  are  grey  and  made  of leather. Sports shoes are light and good for sport, and all the students like them.

All of these come in different sizes. Do you like my fashion design?

话题9: What I do with my lucky money

Every year, I get some lucky money at the Spring Festival.

I usually spend most of my lucky money on pens, books, food and music. I also use some money to help children in need every year. I save the rest in my bank account. As Mum always tells me, it is important to save for a rainy day.

I  try  to  manage  my  money  well.  At  the  beginning  of  each  year,  I make a budget for my lucky money. It helps me plan what to do with it and have good spending habits.

每年，我都会在春节时收到一些压岁钱。

我通常把大部分压岁钱花在钢笔、书、食物和音乐上。每年我还

会用一些压岁钱去帮助生活困难的孩子。剩下的压岁钱我会存到我的银行账户里。正如妈妈总是告诉我的那样，未雨绸缪很重要。

        我尽力合理支配我的钱。每年年初，我都会为我的压岁钱做一个预算。这有助于我计划如何使用这笔钱，并养成良好的消费习惯。

话题10:My favourite festival

        My  favourite  festival  is  the  Spring  Festival.  It  is  an  important holiday in China . It is always in January or February.

Usually,  people  clean  their  homes  and  put  up  the  Spring  Festival couplets  beforehand.  On  the  Chinese  New  Year’s  Eve,  families  get together  and  enjoy  a  big  dinner.  Then people like to watch the Spring Festival Gala on TV. During the holiday, people visit relatives and friends and send each other good wishes. Elders often give kids red packets to wish them good luck.

        The Spring Festival lasts till the Lantern Festival. It is often cold at this time of year, but people feel warm in their hearts.  

        我最喜欢的节日是春节。它是中国的一个重要节日。它总是在一月或者二月。

通常，人们会提前把家里打扫干净，贴上春联。在除夕夜，家人

们会聚在一起吃一顿丰盛的晚餐。然后人们会在电视上看春节联欢晚会。节日期间，人们走亲访友，互相送上祝福。长辈们常常会给孩子们发红包，来祝

他们好运。

        春节一直持续到元宵节为止。每年的这个时候天气通常很冷，但人们心里会很温暖。
