9AUnit 6 Grammar

Teaching objectives:

1.To learn to use if to talk about the result of a possible action

2.To use unless to say that something can only happen or be true in a particular situation.

3.To develop students’ right attitude to lifebe confident; be hard-working.

Teaching key points and difficult points:

1. Phrases:  be in danger, live in the wild, live as a family, realize your dream, weather report, have a chance to do sth, take your own food with you, have little interest in sth

2. Structures:

1)If you enjoy solving mysteries, you might like this film.

2)Unless you try your best, you will not realize your dream.

3)You will have a chance to see how a TV programme is recorded.

让学生借助图片,操练if引导的条件状语从句,鼓励学生以不同的形式去帮助贫困地区的孩子们。

5.work out the rule: We use the simple ____________ tense in the unless-clause.

本部分以如果不下雨,就去动物园引出if…not=unless, 在以图片形式进行操练,能让学生容易掌握unless的基本用法,最后以学习去电视台的旅游小贴士展开,从语言的输入到输出,让学生在语言思维上得到了训练,同时,也达到了交际的目的。

The magic lamp can make our wish come true, but I think we can also realize our dream or wish through hard work.
