7A Unit2 Grammar

Teaching objectives:

1.      Knowledge objectives:

   To help the students know how to make positive and negative sentences using the verb” to do” in the simple present tense.

2.      Ability objectives:

To enable the students to learn how to ask and answer questions using the verb “to do”.

3.      Value objectives：

To develop the students’ ability of the co-operation.

Designing aims

Step 1  Review

Review the simple present tense of the verb to be.

复习一般现在时be动词形式，大部分学生已掌握，难度不大。

Step2  Presentation

1、Give some sentences on the screen.

2、Let the students compare the sentences on the blackboard. Help students to find out the differences. The teacher says: “Look at these sentences. Pay attention to the verbs. We use the verb “to be” in these three sentences while we use the verb “to do” in these ones.”

3、We use the simple present tense when we talk about (1)things that we often do.(2)things that are always true.(3)things that are true now.

4、Give more sentences.Help the students compare these sentences. Remind the students paying attention to these verbs: When the subject is he/she /it, we need to add an “s” to the verb.

让学生对比一般现在时的be动词和其它动词的句子的区别与联系。告诉学生在哪些情况下用一般现在时，举例说明，让学生更容易理解。

Steps3  Practice

1、Help the students to read the table on page 23,let the students know how to add an “s” to the verb. How many ways are there to add an “s”? What are they? Emphasis some ways that the students can make mistakes easily, such as:”以辅音字母+Y结尾的动词，去掉y，再加ies.”

2、present some verbs on the blackboard, ask the students to write their single forms:

Put________enjoy_______write________fly_____________

Play________have________guess_________match_________

3、Millie is writing about herself and her classmates. Please help her complete the sentences in part A with the words in the box. Then ask five students to read them loudly, the other students check the answers .

4、Ask students to write five sentences to introduce their/their habits, hobbies and abilities.

5、Finish the exercise B and check the answers.

6、Give more exercises on the screen.

让学生看23页表格，让学生理解第三人称单数动词加s,es,等的规则，这是重点也是难点。给学生一些动词加以练习巩固，以便更好地掌握。 然后完成书上练习，也让学生写一写自己的爱好等方面的事情，与学生的实际结合起来，学习效果会更好。如果有更多时间，可以多操练，熟能生巧。

巩固所学，利用课堂所学知识来解决实际问题，提高其语用能力。
