7A Unit 1 Integrated Skills

Teaching objectives:

1.      Knowledge objectives:

(1) Students are expected to be able to grasp some consonants

(2) How to greet with each other

2.      Ability objectives:

(1)   Read the consonants correctly and spell some words by using it

(2)   Get information by reading /listening, and students are able to fill in the blanks.

3.      Value objectives：

(1) Realize the importance of pronunciation

(2) Greet with each other politely

Teaching key points and difficult points:

1. Structures:

  (1) She has long hair.= Her hair is long.

  (2) like/ love doing

2. Students can read the consonants correctly.

Designing aims

Step1: Revision

Review all the vowels and practice them

通过复习之前学习的20个元音在唤醒学生对已学知识的记忆的同时激活学生的思维，营造轻松的学习氛围。

Step2：Consonants

1. Teach how to read the consonants on Page 77.

2. Practice Part A, B, C on Page77

之前通过复习元音引入辅音的教学。完成书本Part A, Part B和Part C的练习，通过这些练习让学生巩固这几个辅音。

Step3：Part A Meeting my new friends

1. Read and complete some of the table with the information from Part A1.

2. Guess ( Predict)  What’s Kitty’s age？

                   What does Kitty look?

                   What’s Amy’s age？

                       What does Amy look?

 3. Play the tape, and then complete A2.

 4. Listen to the tape again and fill in the blanks in A3.

首先培养学生如何利用表格获取信息，整合信息的能力。其次通过猜的方式可以调动学生的好奇心，让他们可以专注下面的听力内容，自己找答案。下面的第三部份，根据A1和A2 的内容听听力填空，可以降低听力的难度。

Step4：Speak up

Millie and her cousin Andy are greeting Kitty at school. Work in groups of three and greet each other. Use the conversation below as a model.

2. Read the dialogue

3. Act out a new dialogue
