Step1:Revision Last class, we talked about two new friends. Can you say something about them?

复习上节课所学,从学生所熟悉的内容开始,减轻学生英语学习的焦虑感,并且导入新话题。

Step2:Presentation 1. Review the names of some friends and try to find out what they are like. 2. Watch the video carefully and know about what they like. 3. After answering questions correctly, know more about them. Ask students to choose which one they want to know first and then answer some questions about details. 4. Each time they answer questions correctly, ask them to read the passage after the computer. 5. Read by themselves and get more familiar with the content.

首先复习一下上节课认识的新朋友,然后让学生们自己分辨出每个人的不同,并用英语表达出来。随后再进行课文的理解,这样学生会对每个人的外貌更加注意。通过学生的自己选择,增加学生上课的主动性,并对课文中的每一个人进行细致的分析,达到完全理解文章的内容。

Step4:Retell and revision 1. Choose one of them to retell and then do it with the partner. 2. Give some students chances to retell in class. When some students miss some points, others can give more information. 3. Play a guessing game. One student doesn’t mention the name and say something about one person. Then others can guess who he/ she is. 4. Say something about yourself. Try to give information as much as possible.
