1. Ask students to read the title of the text carefully, and then try to find out its feature

Ask one student to read this part, and figure out what should be paid attention to.

2.Students need to find out what the second part (Para.2-7) is about by answering some questions:

Summary:
Kelly Foster thought her brother was taken away by aliens.
Mrs. Foster thought her son was spending the night with friends and became worried when he did not show up for the lunch.
Mr. Foster was working that night on his road construction job and he called the police.
3.Students need to find out what the third part (Para.8-9) is about by answering some questions:
What happened to Mrs. Mavis Wood?
Who was in charge of the case?
Did he believe that Justin had been taken by aliens?
Summary:
Mrs. Mavis Wood thought Justin was taken away by aliens so that aliens would do research on him.
Detective Sam Peterson thought people sometimes make up stories, and that there was no hard evidence to prove it. He said they would not give up until found out what really happened.
