Summary of chapter 6(故事概要)
It turned out that Gatsby was the son of poor and unsuccessful farmers in North Dakota. However, at the age of 17, he changed his name, James Gatz into Jay Gatsby and managed to be a rich person 5 years later thanks to Dan Cody, a multi-millionaire. One Saturday night, Tom came to Gatsby’s party with Daisy. Tom felt worried and jealous after he learnt that Gatsby knew Daisy. Meanwhile , Gatsby wanted Daisy to divorce Tom and marry him to recover what he had lost in the past five years.
