Summary of chapter 4（故事概要）

One morning in late July, Gatsby and Nick journeyed into the city in Gatsby’s gorgeous car. On the way, Gatsby told Nick something about his past and asked Nick to do him a big favour. Later, Gatsby introduced Nick to one of his business partners, Meyer Wolfsheim, a gambler, who tried to convince Nick that Gatsby was a trustworthy gentleman. On that same day, while having tea with Jordan Baker, Nick learned that Gatsby and Daisy had an earlier romance five years ago. They were in love with each other, but Gatsby went to war and couldn’t get back to Daisy. The next year, Daisy married Tom.
