本堂课以“保护环境”创设情境,展开包含看、说、读、写的活动。教师首先引导学生阅读一篇关于保护动物的新闻报道,了解问题现状、背后的原因与具体的影响;再要求学生看一个相关话题的视频,获取相关信息;然后让学生两两一组进行讨论;最后要求学生就呼吁同学们保护动物的主题为校报写一篇文章。读、看、说前三个环节为最后的写做准备,活动之间互有关联,共同构成一个语言技能整合的活动。
Student Analysis:
The targeted students are those in Senior 1. After a semester’s learning ,they are supposed to be familiar with the basic integrated skills, such as reading the assigned material and summarize the main ideas in their own words. However, they may still find it difficult to express their own thoughts in English, especially in the written form. It requires teachers to provide certain kind of language database for them, listing useful expressions.
Learning aims:
By the end of this section, students will be able to:
1. Summarize the main idea of the news report;
2. watch a video and take notes about animal protection;
3. Write an article to appeal to students to protect animals;
4. Cultivate a sense of responsibility in animal protection.
