Practical Writing: an application letter教学设计

Content analysis:

本堂课的授课内容是应用文申请信的写作,具体可分为三个环节:分析申请信样本、总结申请信写作技巧、申请信写作与讲评。

Students analysis:

本堂课的授课对象是高三学生。学生已经学习了邀请信、感谢信、道歉信等应用文写作方法,对应用文写作的基本要点有一定把握,但是第一次接触申请信写作,在申请信的写作框架及固定句型上可能需要教师的引导。

Learning objectives:

By the end of this period, students will be able to:

1. read a sample of an application letter;

2. analyze it to get some useful tips;

3. write an application letter.

How to summarize the five tips for application letter writing.

How to guide students in writing application letter.
